Services :: Engineering & Construction Tunisia Builds Big Sulfuric Acid Plant3:19 AM MDT | July 3, 2008 | Natasha Alperowicz Tunisian Indian Fertilizers (Tifert; Tunis) says it will construct a sulfuric acid plant at La Skhira, Tunisia. The company has awarded a lumpsum engineering, procurement and construction contract to a consortium led by Technip and including the local group Pireco (Les Berges du Lac, Tunisia) to build the 3,600 m.t./day plant. The facility will use the Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems process and is scheduled for completion at the beginning of 2010.
