Técnicas Reunidas details Rapid contract in Malaysia

Técnicas Reunidas (Madrid) has detailed its $1.5-billion contract it received from a Petronas (Kuala Lumpur) refinery and cracker subsidiary for the Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (Rapid) project at Pengerang, Malaysia. Técnicas Reunidas’ lump-sum turnkey contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of several units within Rapid. These include hydrotreating, catalytic reforming and hydrogen production facilities, a saturated gas plant, as well as interconnection and flare facilities...
