(Sipchem; Riyadh) says it will issue bid documents at the beginning of next month for a previously announced ethane and propane cracker at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The cracker will produce a combined 1.3 million m.t./year of ethylene and propylene. ABB Lummus Global, KBR, Linde, Technip, and Shaw Stone & Webster have expressed interest in bidding for the contract, which covers the supply of technology, engineering, procurement, and construction services.
