Qafco Awards Cogen Contract To U.S. Contractor

Proplant (Houston) says it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract by Qatar Fertiliser Co. (Qafco) for a cogeneration steam production plant at Qafco’s Mesaieed, Qatar manufacturing complex. The scope of the contract also includes integrating steam supply to all of the fertilizer plants that make up the complex. Further details were not disclosed.
