Services :: Engineering & Construction Orascom to Build Large Fertilizer Complex in Iowa3:55 PM MDT | September 5, 2012 | Vincent Valk Orascom’s Iowa Fertilizer Company (IFCo) subsidiary has chosen to build a new world-scale fertilizer complex in Weaver, IA, near the Mississippi River, the company says. The new plant will have a capacity of 1.5-2 million m.t./year of ammonia, urea, urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). It is expected to be completed by mid 2015, and will entail an investment of $1.4 billion.
