Services :: Engineering & Construction Lummus to Supply Technology for Propane Dehydro and PP Complex in Kazakhstan6:26 AM MDT | April 14, 2011 | Ian Young CB&I says that its Lummus Technology subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the license and basic engineering of a previously announced propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene (PP) complex in Kazakhstan. Lummus was selected by Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries (KPI) for the project, which will be built near Karabatan in the Atyrau region of western Kazakhstan. KPI is a 51-49 joint venture between KazMunaiGaz Exploration and Production (Astana, Kazakhstan) and SAT & Co. (Astana). The propane dehydro unit will have capacity for 500,000 m.t./year of...
