Jacobs Awarded Fungicide Contract

Syngenta has awarded Jacobs Engineering a contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services for a planned fungicide manufacturing plant at Grangemouth, U.K., Jacobs says. Financial terms were not disclosed. The unit will produce the active ingredient azoxystrobin, a naturally derived crop fungicide. It will be similar to an existing azoxystrobin plant at Grangemouth.
