JGC Awarded Major Feedstock Plant Contract in Qatar

JGC Corporation has been awarded a lump-sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contract to build the Barzan gas processing complex at Ras Laffan, Qatar for RasGas Company. The complex will be owned by a joint venture in which Qatar Petroleum has 93% and ExxonMobil the balance. The complex will process gas from Qatar's North field, the world's largest non-associated natural gas reserve, to produce 1.4 billion cu feet/day of gas.
