(Jeddah), a part of the Xenel Group, has selected Hanwha Corp. (Seoul) to build an aromatics complex at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The engineering, procurement, and construction contract, estimated to be worth $500 million, covers the supply of two naphtha processing streams with a capacity for 1.5 million m.t./year. The first stream will produce benzene, toluene and xylene, while the second will make propane, butane, and motor gasoline.
