Services :: Engineering & Construction Haldor Topsøe to Supply Sulfur Recovery Plant to China3:18 AM MDT | September 24, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Haldor Topsøe says it has signed a contract with Henan Jinkai Group (Kaifeng City, China) to supply a suflur recovery and sulfuric acid production plants as part of Henan Jinkai's efforts to clean its coal gasification facilities. The plants will be built adjacent to Henan Jinkai's 500,000 m.t./yer ammonia plant at Kaifeng City. The fertilizer complex produces large amounts of waste gases, which include sulfur compounds such as H2S. The unit will recover 40 m.t./day of sulfur from acid gas, which will be converted to 120 m.t./day of sulfuric acid, as well... This information is only available to Chemical Week subscribers.
