Services :: Engineering & Construction Foster Wheeler and Basell Confirm Qatar Contracts9:09 AM MDT | October 16, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Foster Wheeler has confirmed that it has been awarded contracts to carry out front-end engineering design and provide project and construction management services for a previously announced petrochemical complex at Mesaieed, Qatar (CW, Sept. 26, p. 19). The complex is being built by a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Honam Petrochemical. It will have capacity to produce 800,000 m.t.-900,000 m.t./year of ethylene and 900,000 m.t./year of propylene.
