Services :: Engineering & Construction Evonik Awards Monosilane Gas Contract in Japan to Toyo Engineering9:48 AM MDT | July 13, 2009 | Natasha Alperowicz Toyo Engineering has been awarded a contract by Evonik Monosilane Japan Co., an Evonik Industries subsidiary, to buid a plant to produce 1,000-m.t./year of monosilane gas. The unit will be located at Yokkaichi, Japan. Toyo will start construction this year with completion scheduled for 2011. Monosilane is an industrial gas used to form silicon film on thin film silicon solar cells and a variety of electronic devices in the semiconductor industry.
