Dow Goes Ahead With Polyols Capacity Hike

Terneuzen: Synergies with HPPO. Dow Polyurethanes says it will proceed with a previously announced expansion of polyols capacity at Terneuzen, The Netherlands (CW, April 4, p. 15). The company has awarded an engineering contract to Jacobs Engineering for the 180,000-m.t./year polyols expansion. Dow declined to say what its total capacity will be when the expansion is completed next year.
