Cytec acquires German engineering company C-CON

Cytec announced that it has acquired an equity position in C-CON Holdings (Herrenkreuth, Germany), an engineering, design, and process development company. The companies also signed a joint development agreement for carbon fiber reinforced polymer processing techniques for high-volume production for the serial automotive market. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
