Chiyoda awarded EPC contract by RasGas in Qatar

Chiyoda said today that its subsidiary in Qatar, Chiyoda Almana Engineering, has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract by RasGas. The scope of the project consists of onshore storage, pumping, and loading facilities that will pump monoethylene glycol (MEG) through a high-pressure pipeline system to eight RasGas and three Qatargas offshore wellhead platforms to prevent the formation of hydrates.
