CF Industries Advances Peru Plant

CF Industries (Deerfield, IL) says it has awarded a lump-sum, front-end engineering design (FEED) contract to Technip for Peru’s first major nitrogen fertilizer production facility. The previously announced facility will serve the domestic as well as other markets in the region. The complex will be built near the city of San Juan de Marcona, Peru and be designed to produce 2,600 m.t./day of ammonia and 3,850 m.t./day of urea.
