Burel Industries Awards Polypropylene Technology Contract to Dow

Burel Industries (Manama, Bahrain) has selected Dow Chemical’s Unipol technology for a 250,000-m.t./year polypropylene (PP) plant to be built as part of a previously announced petrochemical complex in the Gebeng industrial park at Kuantan, Malaysia, The plant will be designed to produce homo, random and impact copolymer PP and is due onstream in 2013-14.
