Azerbaijan Plans Petchems Complex; Forms JV with Foster Wheeler

Foster Wheeler and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (Socar; Baku) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to form a joint venture company in Azerbaijan. Socar is active in the fields of oil and gas exploration, production, transportation and marketing and plans to build an oil, gas processing and petrochemical complex in the Garadag district of Baku.
