Services :: Engineering & Construction Axens Supplies Large Biodiesel Plant in Malaysia9:11 AM MDT | October 1, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Mission Biofuels (Perth, Australia) says it has selected Axens’s Esterfip-H technology for the company’s second biodiesel plant at Kuantan Port, Malaysia. The first, 100,000-m.t./year plant is due to be completed this year and the second, 250,000-m.t./year plant will be onstream in August 2008, Mission Biofuels says. Esterfip-H is a heterogeneous technology for the production of fatty acid methyl esters. The second plant will be designed to use palm oil as feedstock but it will be able to consume other oils.
