Axalta adds PP powder coatings capacity at jv in China

Axalta says is it is adding capacity for polypropylene (PP) powder coatings at its facility in Huangshan, China, which is operated as a joint venture with Yongjia Chemical. The jv is called Huajia Chemical. Exact capacity figures have not been disclosed. The PP powder coatings can be applied to dishwashers, go-carts, flange, furniture, buttons, and other hard surfaces, and are in growing demand, Axalta says.
