Arkema Awards Contract to Jacobs for Clear Lake Projects

Arkema has awarded a contract to Jacobs Engineering Group to provide engineering procurement and construction management services for two projects at Arkema’s Clear Lake, TX facility.   The main project at Clear Lake will enhance the reliability and competitiveness of the site’s acrylic acid plant. The upgrade will result in a slight decrease in acrylic acid capacity at Clear Lake to 270,000 m.t./year on completion in early 2013.
