Services :: Engineering & Construction Jacobs Awarded Contract for Evonik Nylon-12 Project in Asia3:56 PM MDT | May 9, 2012 | Ian Young Jacobs Engineering says it has been awarded a contract by Evonik Industries to provide basic engineering services for a previously announced grassroots nylon-12 project in Asia. The value of the contract was not disclosed. Jacobs says it has been working closely with Evonik's project team at Marl, Germany to develop the conceptual design for the new plant, which is based on Evonik's existing nylon-12 plants at Marl. Evonik announced earlier that the new nylon-12 unit would be built at Shanghai and have a capacity of 20,000 m.t./year with completion scheduled...
