Linde Electronics and Pelchem form xenon difluoride distribution alliance

Linde Electronics and the fluorochemicals producer Pelchem (Pretoria) have formed a strategic partnership to distribute xenon difluoride (XeF2), which is used in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). MEMS are miniaturized electromechanical elements that are widely used in mobile and automotive applications, such as accelerometers, pressure sensors, compasses, and microphones.
