Chromadex Signs Pterostilbene Antioxidant Distribution Agreement

Chromadex Corp. (Irvine, CA) has reached a distribution agreement with Glanbia Nutritionals (Kilkenny, Ireland) for its “pteropure” pterostilbene antioxidant. Glanbia will be the exclusive distributor of pteropure for the North American region in the food, beverage and dietary supplement industries. Pterostilbene is found in blueberries and has good biological activity, oral bioavailability and metabolizes slower than other antioxidant polyphenols, Chromadex says.
