Weidman will be replaced by Mark Rohr, executive chairman and former CEO of Albemarle. Rohr will step down as chairman of Albemarle on February 1. Mexico's Ethylene XXI project, which will include a 1.05 million m.t./year cracker and downstream polyethylene units, is expected to receive final approval in early 2012.
