Brenntag Buys Midwest Distributor

Brenntag says it has acquired Ulrich Chemical (Indianapolis), an $83.6-million/year chemical distributor serving the cosmetics, food and beverage, municipal water and wastewater, paints and coatings, personal care, pharmaceutical and other industries. Terms were not disclosed. The deal enables Brenntag to increase its market penetration in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio, Brenntag says.
