Azelis Makes Major Acquisition

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis (Antwerp) says it has agreed to acquire S&D Group (Harrow, U.K.) from S&D's co-founder Peter Straus. Terms were not disclosed. S&D specializes in the distribution of raw materials and ingredients to the pharmaceutical, food, personal care, and performance chemicals industries.
