Belaruskali signs potash marketing agreement with Muntajat

Belaruskali (Soligorsk, Belarus) said on Monday that it had signed an agreement with Qatar state-owned chemicals marketing and distribution company Muntajat (Doha) covering joint cooperation in the field of fertilizer sales. The deal, signed at Muntajat's headquarters, follows the recent collapse of the potash export cartel BPC, jointly operated by Belaruskali and Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia). Muntajat has agreed to sell up to 3 million m.t./year of Belaruskali’s potash fertilizers and at the same time reach markets that were not covered by BPC, the company...
