North American weekly chemical railcar traffic flat YOY

During the week ended 14 March, chemical railcar traffic in North America changed little year-over-year (YOY) as gains in Canada offset declines in the United States and Mexico. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 43,582 carloads, down 0.06% from the previous week, and up 0.2% YOY, according to data released on 11 March by the Association of American Railroads (AAR). For the year to date, chemical railcar traffic in North America is up 3.4%, versus a 2.6% increase in all railcar traffic, according to the AAR....
