Report: Chemicals M&A Activity Continues to Rebound

The total value of announced chemicals M&A deals in the first-quarter stood at $41 billion, according to a report by PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC; New York), a consulting firm. The $41 billion figure only counts deals valued at higher than $50 million. The rise was expected, as "we are finally seeing deal flow from pending transactions that have been in the pipeline for several quarters," PwC says.
