The observation that, as a result petrochemical and infrastructure construction activity, material and labor constraints will trigger cost increases, is valid, and often overlooked. The acid test is to try to obtain a "turn Key'" contract from a major contractor. Many local union halls are empty, and "travelers" are of questionable quality. The current situation supports the concept that we should emphasize trade schools and community colleges, not the traditional four year colleges and graduate MBA programs.
