Defining Green Chemistry

Socma’s plans to form the International Center for Sustainable Chemistry could give chemical makers a meaningful role in determining what constitutes a “green” chemical (p. 13). The center will serve as a hub for risk screening models and a technical center on green chemistry, says Socma, which made the announcement at the Informex show held in San Francisco last week.
