Ras Tanura Configuration Changes; Site to be Switched?

Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical, partners in the previously announced multibillion-dollar Ras Tanura Integrated Project (RTIP) in Saudi Arabia, have changed the configuration of some of the complexâ€™s facilities to save on investment costs, CW has learned. The companies are also looking at a possible shift of location away from Ras Tanura, possibly to Al Jubail or Ras Al Zaur where infrastructure is in place. The moves could save the partners $3 billion-$5 billion in investment costs, sources say. The scheme as originally planned would have required a $20-billion...
