India Firms Up Antidumping Duties on PP Imports

India has imposed definitive antidumping duties on imports of polypropylene (PP) from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. The Department of Revenue at the Ministry of Finance (New Delhi) slapped provisional antidumping duties in July 2009 on PP imports from the three countries, and decided on November 19, 2010 to make the measures more permanent. The duties are in force for five years from July 30, 2009.
