Chemical Week Magazine :: Top of the Week DuPont Lifts Earnings Outlook2:15 PM MST | January 14, 2008 | Robert Westervelt DuPont increased its 2007 full-year earnings outlook, citing “stronger business results” in the fourth quarter despite a slower U.S. economy. The company also raised its expectations for 2008. DuPont expects full-year 2007 earnings to be at the upper end of its previously announced range of $3.15-$3.20/share, excluding 9 cts/share of charges for significant items recorded in the first nine months of 2007 and a net benefit of 2 cts/share that it expects to record for the fourth quarter. “For the full-year 2007, we will deliver 11% or more...
