CF Industries Launches Unsolicited Bid to Buy Terra

CF Industries (Deerfield, IL) has made an unsolicited bid to acquire Terra Industries for $2.1 billion in stock. The acquisition “would create a leader in the global fertilizer industry,” CF Industries says.
