Chemical Week Magazine :: Top of the Week Aramco and Dow Relocate Petchems Project to Al Jubail8:08 AM MDT | April 9, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz A previously announced multibillion-dollar petrochemical joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical is to be relocated from Ras Tanura to Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia to save costs, CW has learned. Sources close to the project tell CW that a final decision on the move to Al Jubail has been taken. The partners also considered Ras Al Zaur, Saudi Arabia as a possible alternative site.
