Airgas Rejects Air Products’ Sweetened Offer

Airgas has spurned Air Products’ latest acquisition offer, once again dismissing it as an “opportunistic attempt to cut off the Airgas stockholders’ ability to benefit” as the domestic economy improves. Air Products last week raised its offer for Airgas from $63.50/share to $65.50/share. Air Products first launched its hostile bid in February for $60/share (CW, Feb.8/15, p. 6).
