Acrylamide is a public health concern, according to EFSA draft

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) has confirmed that acrylamide in food potentially increases the risk of developing cancer for consumers in all age groups. EFSA is today launching a public consultation on its draft scientific opinion on acrylamide in food, developed by Contam, the authority’s expert panel on contaminants in the food chain.
