Oman Oil Co. to acquire Oxea from Advent

Oman Oil Co. (OOC; Muscat) has reached a deal to acquire Oxea (Oberhausen, Germany) from private equity owners Advent International (Boston). Financial details have not been disclosed. Oxea generated sales of about €1.5 billion ($2.02 billion) in 2012 and employs about 1,406 people worldwide. Oxea makes oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives, such as alcohols, polyols, carboxylic acids, specialty esters, and amines.
