Sika buys Swiss adhesives maker

Sika says it will acquire the business of Klebag Chemie (Ennetbürgen, Switzerland), a manufacturer of adhesives for the sealing, bonding, and flooring markets. Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Klebag generates annual sales of about 12 million Swiss francs ($13.5 million), Sika says. Klebag has developed a range of adhesives, coatings, and fillers for the interior finishing market in Switzerland, and the company has a strong customer base, Sika says.
