SW Adds Fire Protection Coatings

Sherwin-Williams says it has acquired Leighs Paints (Bolton, U.K.), a producer of fire protection coatings. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal enhances Sherwin-Williams’ Protective & Marine product portfolio, adding product lines in intumescent Passive Fire Protection products for the hydrocarbon market and in epoxy intumescent coatings, Sherwin-Williams says.
