R&H Forms China JV

Rohm & Haas (R&H) says it has partnered with Weihai Jinhong Polymer to form Jinhong Rohm and Haas Chemicals, serving the plastics additives market. The jv, which is pending Chinese government approval, will be located at Jinhong’s Weihai City plant and will produce methacrylate butadiene styrene (MBS), acrylic impact modifiers (AIMs), and acrylic processing aids for distribution in China and other emerging markets, R&H says.
