PPG Poland plant starts up

PPG Industries says it has started manufacturing protective and marine coatings at the companyâ€™s facility at OstrÃ³w Wielkopolski, Poland. The facility became a part of PPG through the acquisition of Dyrup (Copenhagen), which was completed in January 2012, and the facility previously produced architectural coatings. The OstrÃ³w Wielkopolski facility produces protective and marine coatings for the construction, petrochemical, shipbuilding, and energy sectors, PPG says.
