PPG Poland plant starts up

PPG Industries says it has started manufacturing protective and marine coatings at the company’s facility at Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland. The facility became a part of PPG through the acquisition of Dyrup (Copenhagen), which was completed in January 2012, and the facility previously produced architectural coatings. The Ostrów Wielkopolski facility produces protective and marine coatings for the construction, petrochemical, shipbuilding, and energy sectors, PPG says. The plant produces coatings such as epoxy, hardener, alkyd, acrylic, zinc and polyurethane...
