Oxea Increases Prices

Oxea (Oberhausen, Germany) says it is raising prices for several of its carboxylic acids, effective October 1. The products are used in coatings, lubricants, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, flavors and fragrances, printing inks, and plastics, the company says. N-butyric and i-butyric will be priced at €50 ($64.72)/m.t. in Europe, 5 cts/lb in North America, and $100/m.t. in Latin America and Asia.
