Momentive Sues Chinese Manufacturer of Glycidyl Esters

Momentive Specialty Chemicals says it has filed suit against Hebei Shield Excellence Technology (Bazhou, China) alleging Hebei infringed upon Momentive’s glycidyl ester monomers production patents. The monomers, sold under the trade name Cardura, are specialty derivatives of Momentive’s versatic acids.
