Lubrizol Acquires Botanical Extracts Maker Active Organics

Lubrizol says it has signed an agreement to purchase Active Organics, a Lewisville, TX-based producer of botanical extracts and specialty cosmetic ingredients. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal compliments Lubrizol’s existing personal and home care line, and marks the company’s entrance into botanical extracts and natural performance ingredients.
