Lanxess and BioAmber to Develop Renewable Plasticizers

After spending two years assessing the performance and market viability of succinate-based esters in the plasticizer market, Lanxess and BioAmber (Minneapolis, MN) have entered into a joint development agreement for non-phthalate plasticizers produced from biobased succinic acid.
