Kemira Restarts Polyaluminum Chloride Facility in Austria

Kemira has restarted a polyaluminum chloride (PAC) facility at its Krems production site in Austria. The company says that it has restarted the PAC product line primarily due to increasing demand for water treatment in Central and Eastern Europe. PAC is an aluminum-based inorganic coagulant, which is used in drinking water and waste water treatment to remove impurities from the water.
