Kao Builds Surfactants Facility in China

Kao Corp. says it will invest ¥5 billion ($63 million) to build a production site in the Jinshan district of Shanghai, China. The plant will mainly produce surfactants used as raw materials for industrial-use cleaners and toiletries, in and materials usedfor molding. The site is expected to be online in 2014. Kao says the Chinese market is a top priority.
